MIXING DESIGN AND ANALYSIS
Mixing of fluids is a very common and core process in various industries such as chemical process industry, oil and gas, paper and pulp. The formation of products typically involves injection of material at various points in a process equipment. It is essential to ensure that injected fluid is mixed with the main stream fluid. This can be established by general observations, measurements or experimental methods. These techniques can be expensive or disruptive to the process itself. Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) methods provide a viable and non-disruptive tool for measurement. The links on this page provide several examples of how SES applied CFD to provide mixing solutions for our clients.
